There are elements in Nature, that come to us at a certain time, in a certain way, that arrive in our perception in a manner that speaks to us, personally. It might be the way the Moon sits on the horizon, within a drift of clouds, as the local recent rain is still dripping off the eaves. It might be the way a Tree casts itself in the morning Sun, or the way a leaf falls to the forest floor.
These moments in time are for our personal growth and healing. They touch something deep within us, and very often are meant solely for us, for our translation, our perception, our own meaning, our own inner peace.
Ever see the sun filtering through the forest canopy, or a rainbow so magnificent, or that very Moon sitting on the horizon, wishing you could capture the moment in a picture, only to have the effect not well translate to film, or even fade from view, as you reach for your camera?

“Her transposed moment of wonder”, followed by a smile, no doubt. 😉
i was talking to frriend on the phone last nite when suddenly she said, “ohmigod, the moon is so fat, can you see it?” i stood and looked out the kitchen window, to the east, where it usually rises, but, “No, i can’t see it yet.” later i was eating dinner and was suddenly prompted to look again–there it was, slightly amber and with one narrow scratch of cloud across her face, just above the rooftops over on 4th st.
so someone’s excitement at one moment was postponed but maintained until i also was able to enjoy it at a later moment, her transposed moment of wonder
