Serendipity – “the faculty of making happy and unexpected discoveries by accident” (Oxford Dictionary)
Not a word I have ever used in a sentence, Serendipity describes any of a number of events in my life, though lately the frequency of occurrences and related “discoveries” has become more enhanced and one serendipitous event in particular serves to let me know that I am where I need to be, doing what I need to be doing. And, as I let go of learned traits of this lifetime, the door and my heart is opening to allow the influx of these events. And, of course, we know this greater influx is riding tandem with a greater awakening of many who I am connecting with, as well as the heightening frequencies of the current astrological, metaphysical and spiritual. Let it ride!
Synchronicity – “ the coincidental occurrence of events and especially psychic events (as similar thoughts in widely separated persons or a mental image of an unexpected event before it happens) that seem related but are not explained by conventional mechanisms of causality —used especially in the psychology of C. G. Jung ” (Merriam Webster)
Another word I likely have not used before in a sentence, Synchronicity can often be paired with the concept of, “great minds think alike”. Additionally, this concept covers the knowing we can have of an “unexpected event before it happens”. Most recently, this knowing occurred to me of a few things I considered as someday down the road hopes and dreams that seem to be materializing much sooner than I could have expected. While these events are just in the wee, or pre stages, they have nevertheless been put into motion at a time I could not have anticipated and are therefore unexpected. Yet somehow, I knew they were in the wind, boding this sense of my needing to get ready. Sort of a, “get ready, here I come” type of a feeling.
I mention both of these words, their meanings and a rather obscure mention of how they are affecting me personally, because I know that I am in no way alone in these experiences, at this very moment. In fact, again, the current state of the Universe and the rising frequencies of energy all around us has these events occurring much more often and much more rapidly for so many people. Sitting here on the brink of the New Moon, Solar Eclipse and the Aries Equinox, I am finding it extremely difficult to sit still.
Personally, I continue to look forward through this year, and the blessings and changes I feel in the Wind. I thank all of you who have supported me through your encouragement. And, am grateful for a budding and special relationship.
